The world is changing.

I overheard 2 doctors chatting away went I visited my friend in hospital yesterday. He is staying in a C class ward. There is a old man in that ward. He was moaning in pain, but the nurses say he can’t take anymore painkillers coz he had already took to the limit.

After saying goodbye to my friend, the 2 doctors was standing in front of the toilet. Then I heard one of them was saying that the old man is a pest. The other then say he wish that the old man die of pain, then he could go home. They laughed so loudly as if there was nobody. The 1st doctor reply after a while saying if not for the high pay, he would not become a doctor and stay on the job. The 2nd doctor kept nodding his head to show that he agreed.

I should have recorded their conversations.

When I got home, I remember what a secondary school classmate said to me. He told me that doctors now became doctors is coz they want the money. Why police became police is coz of they want a stable job. And why teachers wanna teach is coz they want to enjoy the school holidays too.

I thought that classmate was a weirdo at that time, but I guess there is some truth to his words afterall.

Why so serious?

Everyday ppl rush in and out, running for work, looking at price tags over and over again…for what? Money? Family? Cars? House?

What do u crave for?

Remember him?

He is Heath Ledger, the actor who starred as Joker in the Batman movie. Looking at this picture kept me thinking of many things. Heath had passed away. Gone.

Did he completed the things he dream of? Is he happy when he was still alive? Yeah he got fame and money, is it a burden to him?

Why i use the word burden? For example, when u buy a car, its a burden. U have to worry about accidents, worry about scratches, worry about other ppl dirtying ur seat, so why would u wanna buy a car?

Think of it this way, rich ppl might have more problems then poor ppl. They worry they might be kidnapped, they worry the guys/gals approached their kids coz they are rich, they worry about their business and they even worry about how to spilt their assets when they die. Whereas poor ppl have only one main problem, where to find money?

I am not saying tat we should be poor, but seeing so many ppl having so many desires make me feel tat they are actually wasting their time. When u are taking public transport, u wanna have a car. When u got a car, u wanna change for a better car. When u got tat too, u will want a new car. Its the same for other things, houses, handbags, even boyfriends and girlfriends. Desires never stops and most ppl end up slogging for it all their lives.

Wat actually do we want in the end?

Learn not to complain what we don't have, learn to cherish what we already have^^
